What immediately sets this one apart from most of the XC60s you've sent is the combination of Bowers & Wilkins audio and the full Ultra comfort features. That puts it very close to the highest-end XC90 Ultra experience in terms of cabin luxury, just in a smaller, more agile SUV.
Inside, this is fully loaded: ventilated and heated front seats, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, massage front seats, heads-up display, and perforated Nappa leather. The blond interior also gives it a brighter, more upscale Scandinavian feel compared to the darker cabins. It feels more executive luxury than sporty.
The Bowers & Wilkins sound system is a major upgrade over the Harman Kardon setups in most of the XC90 Plus and XC60 Plus trims. Its one of the most noticeable differences in daily use if you care about audio quality.
Driving-wise, this is the standard B5 mild hybrid setup, so its smooth and efficient but not as quick or electric-feeling as the T8 plug-in hybrids or EX90. Its more about refinement than performance. The XC60 platform itself still gives you a lighter, more responsive feel than the XC90, so its easy to live with in town and on tighter roads.
Compared to the XC60 Ultra Black Edition T8 you sent earlier, that plug-in hybrid version still wins on performance and versatility because of the electric boost and EV driving capability. But this B5 Ultra actually competes closely on luxury feel, and in some ways it edges ahead because of the Bowers & Wilkins system and the more traditional luxury focus.
Against the XC90s, this is less about space and family utility and more about premium comfort for fewer passengers. You lose the third row, but you gain a more intimate, higher-end cabin experience.
Overall, this is one of the strongest pure luxury XC60s in your entire list, best suited if you don't need the third row and want maximum interior quality in a midsize SUV that's easier to drive every day than the XC90.
